Each Continuous Oscillatory Baffled Reactor is designed around specific applications to allow flexibility and customisation.

Shorter process times are achieved with faster reactions by removing heat and mass gradients. The shorter throughput time enables smaller quantities to be produced and variable product quantities can be manufactured rather than multiples of batch sizes.

An example of the flexibility of the plant using a COBR is that 3 products can be manufactured for different lengths of time, e.g. product x run for 6 hours, product y run for 8 hours and product z for 3 hours.

Lower stock holding is made possible as a wider variety of products can be produced more often resulting in higher customer service levels.

Products that have traditionally necessitated large scale production can be made in smaller quantities closer to point of use. Transport and inventory costs reduce.
