The U.S. Pharmacopeia and the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Technology and Education have launched the Continuous Manufacturing Knowledge Center, an online platform to assist pharma companies in adopting continuous technology.

First continuous mRNA manufacturing platform to be developed

A new three-year research programme led by the US’ Massachusetts Institute of Technology is aiming to design the world’s first fully integrated, continuous mRNA manufacturing platform. The pilot-scale platform aims to improve response to future pandemics and accelerate the development and production of mRNA technologies for vaccines and treatments for cancers and genetic diseases, among others.
